GEtting to the root of the problem: MRT+leap food sensitivity program
Program Overview
How Does it Work
Mediator Release Test (MRT) is a blood test that measures your body's immune reaction when exposed to 170 different foods and food chemicals. Specifically, MRT evaluates all circulating immune complexes after exposure to a particular food. Other food sensitivity tests on the market simply measure specific or individual antibodies such as IgG ,which may or may not be causing problems for you. MRT is currently the most accurate and most comprehensive test available for determining food sensitivities with a sensitivity of 94.5% and specificity of 91.7%.
What conditions is MRT/LEAP helpful in treating?
MRT/Leap can be an integral piece of the treatment for a variety of health conditions. Below are several conditions that LEAP clients find resolution of or decrease in symptoms when working with a CLT (Certified Leap Therapist).
What does the program look like?
The bulk of the program lasts approximately six weeks. During this time we will work on designing a personalized three phase plan of food removal and reintroduction. Education on label reading, food shopping, product choices, and other gut healing protocols will also take place. RD to book with: Sarah
